💼 Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Independent Contractor (Full time and Part time)

🌐 Location: Greater Hamilton Area

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments

· Develop and implement personalized therapy plans

· Provide individual therapy sessions both in-person and virtually

· Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

🎯 Qualifications:

· Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

· Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)

· Previous experience working with diverse populations

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

· Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

At Lingo, we are seeking a dedicated Communication Disorders Assistant to join our growing team. As a Communication Disorders Assistant, you will have the rewarding opportunity to work closely with our experienced speech-language pathologists in providing top-notch care to our clients.

Compensation:

· We provide highly competitive compensation for independent contractors: 

• 45 minutes: $67.60
• 60 minutes: $88.40

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiency carrying out treatment plans developed by speech-language pathologists.
• Implement therapy activities and exercises designed to improve communication skills.
• Provide support and encouragement to clients throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Maintain detailed records of client progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Able to adapt treatment approach to the needs of clients, including clients of different cultural backgrounds and across various settings.

Qualifications:

• College diploma in Communicative Disorders Program. 
• Experience working with individuals with communication disorders preferred.
• Strong organization, time-management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives.
